The Govt. Women’s Polytechnic College, Kottakkal is the first of its kind in Malappuram District, was established in the year 1992, under the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Kerala. The college is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and offers 4 Diploma Courses.
Being the only women’s Polytechnic College in Malappuram District, a relatively backward district of Kerala, and abode of many backward minorities and scheduled castes, Govt. Women’s Polytechnic College caters to the technological needs of socially and economically challenged population of Malappuram District.
